Wingfoil courses on Lake Garda

Wingfoil lessons in perfect conditions

Ideal training conditions for wing foiling at Lake Garda!

Top learning spot with plenty of space & deep water.
Wing foiling courses with radio instruction and boat support.
Learning to foil using the tow bar on the boat - extremely easy.

Our wing foil courses are available on a daily basis for the month of May, June, July, & September.

Wingfoiling and the entry sport wingsurfing are the new latest sports to spread across the globe!

'Winging' uses an inflatable strut or boom to give you the power to move across the water. The hydrofoil under the board then lifts you onto the surface of the water, so you experience the sensation of literally flying! Unlike windsurfing, the wing isn't attached to the board, as it is super light, and is flown by your own hands!

No prior knowledge is necessary to learn wingfoiling. For those who have no experience with foiling in general, it's advisable to choose a multi-day wing foil course lasting four to five days. Those who already have experience from other foil surfing sports can learn wingfoiling in just two to three days.

Advantage: The boat training allows us to each participant individually and teach the first meters of foiling without the wing. This way, we can take your preferences and considerations into account and significantly simplifying the learning process.

Note: We strongly advise against trying winging without prior wing course experience! There is a significant potential for danger, which can be greatly reduced with proper instruction, training, and the right equipment for beginners!

Requirements Participation

There are no special requirements or restrictions for participating in our wingoil courses.

Minimum Age: We accept course participants from 10 years old.

Physical Requirements: You should engage in sports at least occasionally and have a certain level of basic fitness.

What equipment do I need for wingfoiling?

Here's the translation into English:

  • A wing: The size you choose depends on the wind conditions, discipline, and your weight.
  • One or two leashes: One leash connects the wing to your wrist, and the second leash connects the wingfoil board to your ankle. Alternatively, you can also use a waist leash to connect to the wingfoil board.
  • A wingfoil board with foil.
  • A helmet, impact vest, wetsuit, and neoprene shoes: We recommend wearing neoprene shoes when wingfoiling - especially during the first attempts - not primarily for water temperature, but because you can cut yourself on the sharp edges of the foil when you fall into the water and try to get back on the board. At first, it's unfamiliar that there is "something" under the water surface, and during swimming movements, you can accidentally cut yourself on the foil.
  • A pump: The wing is inflated like a kite, so you need an appropriate pump. Most wing manufacturers provide a pump when you purchase the wing. If you use a different pump, make sure to check which valve is installed on the wing.
