How does a kite course at Kitesurf Adventure on Lake Garda work, and what can you expect on a typical day?
It largely depends on the prevailing wind conditions! We either start in the morning (with the Peler - North wind) or in the afternoon (with the Ora - South wind), so there isn't a strict schedule, although the content remains the same. The entire organization is managed through our App.
The first day of a course looks more or less like this:
(Junp directly to the daily TIMELINE)
Check-In & Organization
Meeting time for the first day is at 11:30 am at the kite center at Camping Bella Vista for check-in and an introductory session. Getting to know each other, organizing the day, outlining the course schedule, discussing expectations, planning the flow... all important elements to prepare for a successful kite course. Then we proceed quite directly to the theoretical part.

Theory & Introduction
In every quality kite course, a solid theory part is essential. Depending on the
participants' previous experience, the theory is divided into different groups.
Topics such as safety systems, equipment setup, and the wind window are essential
  for kite beginners.

Participants with previous experience discuss theory content that is beneficial for
the practical session on the water. This means, for example, going through the
crucial elements of the water start. Participants can, but do not have to repeat
previously learned content; instead, they are trained according to their
  level.

Action Time!
Depending on the wind, we head to our boats between 1 and 3 pm after preparing
ourselves at the kite center. We typically stay on the lake for up to 4 hours
(usually 3 to 3.5 hours). We are using radios for communication and teach in the
buddy system, where two students share a setup. This approach has proven successful
as breaks are necessary for recovery. While resting on the boat, you can continue
learning by observing other course participants and the trainer's instructions!
Observing from the outside can be very helpful for self-analysis and is also
enjoyable. Additionally, our trainers often take this opportunity to explain
details to the participants on the boat using the example of the person practicing.
Radio training provides direct feedback and ensures highly effective learning.
Motivate each other, learning together, and having fun together!

By the way: We start the practical part straight away with the "real"
kites - no unnecessary time wasted with so-called trainer kites on the beach for
  hours!

Feedback & next steps
After completing the practical part, we take care of the equipment, followed by a
relaxed feedback session where we briefly review the session. This allows us to set
learning goals for the next session and discuss plans for the following day.

Afterward, we often go out for a meal together or enjoy an "aperitivo", or even
organize a BBQ! It all depends on the general mood and preferences...

Mother Nature's Part
Of course, each day is somewhat different and planned according to Mother Nature's will: the wind and weather conditions. However, since Lake Garda experiences a thermal wind system, the daily schedule is often very similar and therefore easily planned in advance. If there's a forecast for north wind (in the morning) instead of south wind (in the afternoon), we start early and utilize the morning for the practical part. We then cover the theory afterwards.
Super convenient: The specific daily schedule is always planned the day before and communicated through our app. This makes planning easy and efficient. You're always updated immediately.
