General Information on Procedure
*Instruction*
Before the first kite session, a brief introduction to the procedures and rules
during the session will be provided. The launching of the kite from the boat will
be handled by the instructor.
*Reservation*
Reservations are only accepted with prior booking and payment of the reserved
service. Registration via email is not sufficient.
Information on Multi-Tickets (1)
*Validity of a Session*
Your sessions will only be voided from your
ticket if kiteboarding actually takes place. Of course, if there is insufficient or
no wind, a session will not be counted even if booked in advance. However, in case
of "unjustified absence" on booked days, a session will be counted as
used.
*Important Features of Multi-Tickets*
No transfer to other persons
allowed. No conversion into other services possible. No refunds possible. Ticket
remains valid for 2 calendar years.
Requirement Foil Board Rental (2)
Renting foil boards is only possible with appropriate knowledge (safe foiling on all courses). You are still practicing kite foiling?
Prerequisites for Kite and Board Rental
To use our shuttle service with equipment rental at Lake Garda, you
must already be able to kite safely and be an advanced kiter. By an advanced
kitesurfer, we mean VDWS Level 5, which includes riding upwind cleanly under
changing conditions. Additionally, you should be able to perform a
self-rescue.
Swimming or impact vest (there is a mandatory life jacket requirement for kiters in
Italy)
Loss & Damage of Equipment:
In case of loss as well as intentional or negligent damage to the rented equipment, compensation is required equivalent to the current market value of the lost item or the repair costs, and the depreciation caused by the damage. We therefore recommend obtaining appropriate insurance coverage.
